What is 1998 survivor series?

The 1998 Survivor Series was the 12th annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). It took place on November 15, 1998, at the Kiel Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

The main event of the pay-per-view was a 14-man elimination match, where two teams of seven wrestlers competed against each other. The team of The Rock, Ken Shamrock, Faarooq, Mankind, and The Undertaker defeated the team of Big Boss Man, Jeff Jarrett, Owen Hart, The Blue Blazer, and Triple H, along with the New Age Outlaws.

Other matches included a singles match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Big Boss Man, a WWF Championship match between The Rock and Mankind, and a WWF Women's Championship match between Sable and Jacqueline.

The event was notable for the controversial Montreal Screwjob incident at the previous year's Survivor Series, which saw Bret Hart leave the WWF. The 1998 Survivor Series saw the debut of a new championship belt design, which would become the standard design for the WWF Championship until 2013.
